Soup Made Easy!
竹蓀玉竹燉雞湯料包（Herbal Immune Boost Soup Mix）
- 竹蓀(Bamboo Pith) 5g
- 玉竹(Polygonatum Odoratum)30g
- 紅棗(Red Dates)15g
- 淮山(Chinese Yam)45g
- 枸杞(Goji Berries)20g
- 蓮子(Lotus Seeds)20g
- 百合(Lily Root Bulbs)30g
Step 1: Soak Bamboo Pith with warm water for 15 minutes and trim off the nets and the ends.
Step 2: Wash all ingredients. Optional: Blanch and add chicken (not included).
Step 3: With all the ingredients except Bamboo Pith in a stock pot, add 4-5 slices of ginger (not included), add 1.5 liters (50 oz) of water, and heat on high until boiling.
Step 4: Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 1 hour. Add Bamboo Pith and simmer for another 10 minutes.
Step 5: Add 1 tablespoon of rice wine on high heat for 3-5 minutes, season with salt.
