Step 1: Soak all ingredients with warm water for 30 minutes.
Step 2: With all the ingredients except Bamboo Pith in a stockpot, add 500ml (17 oz) of water and heat on high until boiling.
Step 3: Reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for about 1 hour. Add Bamboo Pith and simmer for another 10 minutes. Add sugar to sweeten the taste (Included).
